Final Reflection and Fake News

This course has taught me so much. I have learned a lot about the different media outlets. I have also learned a lot about the different ways media can trick you. With that being said I dedicate this blog to Fake news. Fake news seems to be a big problem today. Maybe the first thing you see when logging on to Facebook is a news article link that just doesn’t seem true, so you click to see for yourself. Turns out most of the articles you see more than likely are not true and are called click bait. The most popular fake news now is celebrity deaths. There is always a rumor that some celebrity is dead, then it turns out that they really aren’t. You just have to really be careful when it comes to “news” like these. My advice is to always double check. Assurance is key.
